This is my first mission trip. I have never been to Mexico, so I am excited to see what it is going to be like. I just know that God is going to show His glory through us and the people down there.
I am looking forward to serving and not being served. That is the purpose of this mission trip. I’m excited to work with my brothers and sisters in Christ from this church and also with the people in Mexico. I’m excited to see how God is going to move. It is not a question of whether or not He will, but only a matter of how. I expect healings, people coming to salvation, all of us experiencing growth and transformation, and any other miraculous signs God desires.
The most challenging part has been raising the money for the trip. I’ve been sending out many letters, asking for donations, and have been allowing myself to be stress-free and worry-free going to Mexico. I hope God will use me in many ways such as: evangelism, prayer warrior, building team, and youth ministry. There is no better feeling than allowing God to use us to change people’s lives forever. I expect this trip to be life-changing not only for me, but also for the whole team and for the people we’ll meet in Mexico. I expect that this trip will bring a deeper revelation to me of who Christ really is.
The team is at the airport in Mexico waiting for their flight.
