I am looking forward the most to seeing what God can do in Mexico. I know that He has the most amazing power ever and that His love is steadfast and can endure through anything. I want to see people healed and things changed by the time we leave there – not only in Mexico, but also in our team members’ lives. I want us all as individuals to be changed.
The most challenging part so far has been getting prepared for the trip, period. Graduating only two weeks before, my grad party being held this Saturday, and then us leaving Wednesday has been a huge challenge, but it is so worth it. I know that with big battles come big rewards from the kingdom of heaven! I truly hope that God will use us to our full potential in Mexico and that everyone will give 100% effort into what God has in store and be open. Like I said, I want to see changes. Stuff never done before. I want our team to be a light – to show the love of God in action and in words. I expect this trip to be life changing. So life changing that we’ll be so much more passionate for Christ that nothing else in this world will matter, except that we can grow in Him.
My prayer is that we, as a church, pray for the team leaving for Mexico and that the team members are continuing to get prepared spiritually and physically. This is no vacation…but an open door to share the gospel…which means the devil will be waiting to attack! Stand firm team! We have only 5 days left!!!
The team is at the airport in Mexico waiting for their flight.
