Today, I woke up in the hospital feeling better. A lot better. I opened my Bible and the first scripture that I saw was Isaiah 57:10 – “You were wearied by all your ways, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.”
God gave me strength. I am His son. He is my Father who comforts me.
God has been with me this whole time.
Here is the letter that I wrote to the doctors and nurses who took care of me at the hospital:
To all those who served me in Room 212,
Thank you very much. Everything was fantastic. I felt very welcomed and loved. Though I know almost no Spanish, everyone was kind and patient. I very much enjoyed my time here. This is one of the best hospitals I’ve been to – even some in the States don’t match up to this.
I pray that God will richly bless you all and your families. When I come back to Mexico, I hope to visit everyone here under better circumstances.
The team is at the airport in Mexico waiting for their flight.
